5th-9th Grade Special Education Teacher

Brittany Ryan has lived in Utah all her life.  She graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Brittany is licensed to teach Elementary Education and Special Education.

 

This will be Mr. Ryan’s twelfth year teaching. She has taught Kindergarten, first and second grade at various school and then spent seven years teaching sixth, seventh, and eighth grade at Spectrum Academy. This is Mrs. Ryan’s second year at Legacy Preparatory Academy.  She is very excited to be working in Special Education with the fifth and sixth graders this year. Her goal is to instill a love of learning in her students. Brittany teaches using hands-on experiences as well as auditory and visual opportunities to reach all students in hopes of helping them desire to become life-long learners.

 

Mrs. Ryan has been married to her husband, Robert (Bob) for fourteen years. They have a daughter, Brooke, who is eleven years old and in sixth grade. They also have two dogs, a Border Collie named Porsche and a Lab/Heeler Mix named Ivy. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. She also enjoys going to hockey games (Grizzlies), camping at their cabin, four-wheeling, fishing, and concerts!  Mrs. Ryan occasionally works for CSC doing security for RSL games and concerts.
