Dean of Students

Paul Murphy has had three careers since graduating from Rutgers University a very long time ago.  The first was working with hedge funds and commodities on "Wall Street" followed by a very rewarding 17 years as an at home Dad.  It was the latter that propelled him into teaching.

Mr. Murphy is beginning his sixth ecstatic year at LPA.  He taught 5th grade and Jr. High Math and is now the Dean of Students. Each year he can’t wait for the summer to end, to see the fabulous students again and to work with such an amazing and dedicated staff.  Each day he leaves exhausted, yet exhilarated.

When not waiting for the weekend to end, he enjoys spending time with my three sons, board gaming, golfing and my newest passion, pickleball.

Mr. Murphy sincerely hopes that you find LPA as wonderful as he does.
