Justin Furnell is the CTE teacher at Legacy.  He loves teaching about careers and computers, both of which he has a personal passion for.  He has worked in several professional industries such as construction sales, rentals, computer repairs, and sales.  He has been heavily involved in technology since a young age and loves to repair all types of technology from phones to computers. 

 

Mr. Furnell has an Associate’s degree in Accounting from LDS Business College, and a BS in Business Management with a minor in Education from Central Methodist University. 

 

He is married and has two children with another on the way.  He is from Missouri originally and has lived in Utah for the past four years.  Justin loves photography, photo editing, and playing Minecraft with his son.  He loves being a part of Legacy and feel that it has become part of his family.  He is a true Legacy lion.

Professional interviews

All of the 7th graders will be having a job interview on Thursday or Friday (April 26th and 27th).  They will be required to dress in their absolute best, Monday dress code at a minimum, and will be excused from dress code infractions for most things.  The exception will be, hoodies, heels that are more than 2 inches, low cut, of revealing their bellies, short skirts, open toe shoes, and other VERY distracting or revealing attire. This is part of their grade and is required to be done.

If your student has any missing assignments from any of my classes, and they want to make them up over Thanksgiving break please let me know by next Tuesday 11/14.  I will not be here on Friday 11/17 due to my wife having a baby.  If they do not come see me by Tuesday 11/14 I will not be able to give them their missing assignments till after the break at the soonest.

Student Emails

All students, 7th-9th grade, will receive an email through the school.  It will be in this format firstname.lastname@legacyprep.org  make sure that your students are sharing this info with you along with their password which they will setup the first time they access their account.  If you have any questions please email me. 

Welcome

 I am excited about the new school year starting.  I am going to be much more paperless this year.  Make sure that you are checking my website.  Also, once your student receives their LPA email make sure you have their email address and password so you can access my Google Classroom to see all the fun that is going on in my room.  GO LIONS!!
